AK Food Funnel was originally developed for Alaska’s private salmon anglers to make fish processing and vacuum packaging easier and cleaner. The design was tested, refined, and is now manufactured at in Sterling, Alaska.
After years of using the AK Food Funnel to package salmon, we realized the same tool could solve problems beyond fish processing. We began using the AK Food Funnel for vacuum sealing wild game and other meats, and the response was immediate. From there, we designed our Canning Jar Funnel, opening the door to an entirely new way to use the AK Food Funnel in home food preservation.
